UK-based haircare e-commerce business, White Hot Hair,has announced doubledigit growth since teaming with full-service logistics provider, Leicestershire-based Lemonpath.Despite the challenges of 2020, White Hot Hairsaid that the yearhad beenits‘best yet’ and that the companywould be further extending its rangewith a new product.

 

Heaping praise on Lemonpath’s role in supporting White Hot’s growth, the company’s founder Jayne Mayledsaid Lemonpathhad an “appetite to help small businesses.”

She commented:

“Lemonpath has been instrumental in supporting us with all our packing requirements.We needed logistical expertise, a direct but personal approach and a supplier that could provide e-commerce fulfilment.”

White Hot is an independent hair care brand created specifically for people with white and grey hair.In 2013, Jayne embraced her silver style and launched six essential products for people who also ditched the dye.

While packaging and fulfilment was initially fully managed by Jayne and her team, as the luxurious hair care brand grew and customer demand increased, the company looked for external support in these areas in order to enable it to focus on its core product development skills.

With over 350,000 sq ft of warehousing space and a management team boasting over 150 years of experience, Lemonpath has the capabilities and flexibility to handle projects of any size.

In the last year, e-commerceorders atLemonpath, a leading contract packerbased in Syston, significantly increased. Latest figures from this financial year reveal a year on year growth of around 95 per cent.

“It was important to find a team of people with the appetite to support my business,” continued Jayne at White Hot.

“After a tour of the Lemonpath facility in Syston, I was really impressed.Despite its massive set up, I was delighted to see how well the company worked with and managed smaller operations.”

The involvement of Lemonpathhas enabled White Hot Hair to continue to build its business. Alongside the launch of its new product, the company is also investigating major export markets such as the United States.

Established in 2006 and now part of the DK Group, Lemonpath is one of the largest manual contract packers in the Midlands.
