The responsible finance provider hassupporteda total of89 SMEsand created and safeguarded203 jobs in the region since the start of the MEIF loan fund in 2017.
£2.7million of this milestone has beenprovidedsince April– deliveringa much-needed lifeline to many business owners who are finding business finance especially hard to access from high street lendersbecause of the coronavirus pandemic.

As the MEIF Fund Manager for the East Midlands and South East Midlands, First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans offer small business loans ranging from £3000 to £150,000 under the scheme, which they can top up to £250,000 using other funds.
First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans supports the MEIF’s aims to transform the financial landscape for smaller businesses in the Midlands to help the region achieve economic growth through enterprise.
They are also one of the accredited delivery partners of the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) which supports businesses affected by the pandemicandis managed by the British Business Bank on behalf of, and with the financial backing of, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
