Asset Intelligence Announces Line-up for 2021 Investment Conference

Asset Intelligence, the Leicester-based financial consultancy, today announces the speaker line-up for its annual investment conference, now in its fifth year, held in association with the School of Business at the University of Leicester.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Investing to Change the Future: Sustainable Finance in a Post-Covid World”. The event has historically attracted the participation of top-tier institutions such as BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and T.Rowe Price and featured high-calibre speakers. The 2021 event will be no different with contributions from:

  • Jennifer Anderson: Director and Co-Head of Sustainable Investment and ESG at Lazard.
  • Kel Nwanuforo, Investment Consultant at Asset Intelligence
  • Stephen Freedman: Head of Research and Sustainability for Thematic Equities at Pictet Asset Management.
  • Graham Finlay: Vice President, Strategic & Technical Sales at BMO Global Asset Management

Normally an in-person event held at the University of Leicester, this year’s conference will be streamed digitally for the first time on the 10th March.

The Asset Intelligence Investment Conference is the brainchild of Dan Ladley, Deputy Dean at the University of Leicester School of Business, and Robert Love, founder at Asset Intelligence and it has grown to become a key event in the university’s academic calendar.

Robert Love, Founder of Asset Intelligence, says:

“The Asset Intelligence Investment Conference not only seeks to provide greater insight and understanding of the global investment arena, it also aims to engage and to educate on a 360° basis, allowing our research business and the investment community to meet and learn from bright, young minds and emerging talent. It’s an event we look forward to every year.”

Dr Silvia Pazzi, Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Leicester, said:

“The University of Leicester School of Business is delighted to join with Asset Intelligence again this year to host the fifth annual Investment Conference 2021. It is a key event, not only for our students but also for our academic team, providing the opportunity to hear and discuss the latest insights into current issues in the investment world. This year, we are thrilled to welcome such prominent speakers and look forward to exploring sustainable finance post-Covid.”

Due to the Covid pandemic the Investment Conference will, for the first time, be a digital event, allowing it to reach an even wider audience. Not only will the event be open to University of Leicester students in the UK, it will now welcome students from both the university’s international campuses and, indeed, interested students from all educational establishments. In addition, the Asset Intelligence Investment Conference will now also be open to finance professionals from the IFA and asset management communities.

Access to the event is free and registration is now open at: https://investmentconference21.eventbrite.co.uk/
