LEICESTER’S PREMIER MARKETING EVENT EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS IN SIXTH YEAR

LEICESTER’S PREMIER MARKETING EVENT EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS IN SIXTH YEAR

The team at Anicca Digital is toasting the success of its Leicester Digital Live conference, which saw more than 600 people attend. Since the last conference in 2019, registrations increased by more than 150%, with unprecedented session attendance on the day, which took place virtually on Tuesday 16th February.

The one-day conference consisted of two digital streams/stages: #LeicesterDigitaLive (#LDL), advanced sessions, featuring international guest speakers and software suppliers, plus #AskAnicca: 10 introductory sessions on digital marketing channels and techniques from the agency’s own experts across PPC, SEO, Search, PR and Analytics. Both delivered practical advice from some of the world’s leading marketers, brands and keynote speakers for attendees to implement in their own business, helping growth and competitive techniques.

The popularity of the event, formally known as the e-Commerce conference, has grown since its inception six years ago, which saw it move from its original venue at Leicester Racecourse to the Haymarket Theatre following high demand for tickets. The team at Anicca were determined that the unprecedented events of the last 12 months would not stop the conference taking place, moving it online to enable people to benefit from the latest digital marketing insights.

Leicester Digital Live is organised by Ann Stanley, Founder and Managing Director at Anicca Digital, who was just one of the team delivering talks at the conference. She comments:

“Despite being virtual, there was a great buzz around Leicester Digital Live, thanks to our excellent speakers and interaction from attendees. I was also able to share preliminary results from our 2021 Marketing Survey, which enables businesses to benchmark their marketing activity. The survey runs until the end of month, with respondents having the opportunity to win prizes for completing it.”

Leicester Digital Live raised £600 for Charity Link, an organisation based in Leicester which helps families in need with basic essentials such as food and shelter. Find out more about how to support them.
