BOOKWISE REACHES 100 TRUST LANDMARK IN 10TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR

HEALTHCARE scheduling specialist BookWise Solutions is celebrating its 10th year in business this February, while also reaching another professional landmark this month.
The Burton-on-Trent based company, which develops software to increase efficiency in the NHS, now has scheduling software in use at 100 Trusts across the UK.
Launched in 2011 by Denise Williamson and Lee Copestake with a mission to share “the difference that scheduling can make everyday”, the company first came to market offering its Education product, used to book rooms in healthcare training centres. Since then its in-house team has gone on to develop specialist tools that utilise the same scheduling technology, applying it to outpatient, oncology, renal, day unit and HR specialisms.
Managing director Denise Williamson said, looking back on the 10 years so far:

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust and South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust were early adopters of BookWise Education. Two of the largest contracts have included Birmingham Cancer Network, which purchased Duo for their 6 Hospitals, and Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust which invested in BookWise Outpatients.
