Hat trick of hires for responsible loan provider

BUSINESS support and funding provider First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans http://www.first-enterprise.co.uk/has appointed three new members to its team in order to assist with the increased number of loans and business advice in the fallout of Covid-19.

Sukhveer Chirrimar and Chris Hall both join the business advisor team, helping companies across the East and South East Midlands to access funding, and Lucinda Bell joins as marketing officer.

Enterprise Loans supports SMEs and start-ups with business advice and loans of up to £250,000. The responsible finance providerhas recently been assisting businesses with the Coronavirus Business Interruption Scheme (CBILS) and has seen unprecedented levels of enquiry.

Sukh, who rejoins Enterprise Loans as an investment manager, said: “I’m delighted to be back at Enterprise Loans as it’s a brilliant company and the opportunity to help businesses across the East Midlands is incredibly rewarding.

“As an investment manager, my main role is to support growing and established business owners unlock the financial barriers they might be facing. It might sound cliché, but the aspect I am genuinely most looking forward to is being able to say ‘yes’ when a business applies for lending. I therefore can’t wait to get stuck in and help start-ups and SMEs secure the finance they need.”

Chris, who joins the organisation as a business advisor, said: “I started my career working for Midland Bank and HSBC, so I’ve supported many entrepreneurs and SMEs in my career. I’ve also set up a few of my own businesses, so I’ve seen first-hand what can go well and what can go wrong!

“Having worked for large financial institutions, I’ve seen many entrepreneurs struggle to get access from high street banks and other mainstream lenders. As a result, I found Enterprise Loans’ long track record of supporting local entrepreneurs and businesses really appealing, so I’m really looking forward to getting lending - particularly in the current climate where businesses truly need support.”

Adrian Twelvetrees, senior investment manager at Enterprise Loans, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Chris and Lucinda to the team and especially thrilled to welcome back Sukh.

“It has been an interesting few months here at Enterprise Loans. Supporting with CBILS has ensured that we’ve remained busy and continued to back existing clients as well as new ones during this difficult time. Every business has been impacted in some way by the pandemic and our three new team members will help us to continue to support start-ups and SMEs with funding and business advice.”
