Sterling capitalises on two decades in commercial finance with rebrand

One of the region’s best-known commercial finance specialists has rebranded as it celebrates twenty years in business.

Sterling Capital Reserve Ltd will now be known as Sterling Commercial Finance to better reflect the wider range of services it now provides after 20 years of deal making across the Midlands and beyond.

Managing Director of Sterling Commercial Finance David Griffiths explained the thinking behind the rebrand: "Twenty years ago, Sterling Capital Reserve Ltd commenced as a corporate finance advisory firm assisting businesses with MBO/MBI and acquisitions.

"Gradually, as we began to bring more and more specialists onboard, a commercial finance brokerage evolved within Sterling in order to provide our clients with access to a wide panel of funders.

"As both the advisory and the broking businesses have developed and regulations and operating requirements have evolved differently, we feel it is now time to rebrand the brokerage as Sterling Commercial Finance to better reflect the target market of the brand and to provide it with a separate identity.’

The rebrand will be complemented with newly designed marketing collateral and a fresh website to provide comprehensive information about the brokerage services.

David added: "There will be no disruption to our services, the timing just seemed right as we reached this milestone. So many things have changed in the business world over the last couple of decades but one theme remains constant and that is good, honest, professional advice, that is accessible - that’s the key.

"Our deal advisory work will continue through Sterling Capital Reserve Ltd, with ongoing brokerage services sourced through Sterling Commercial Finance. We look forward to assisting our clients in sourcing funding, whether brokerage or advisory, for many more years to come."
