MILLER HOMES SET TO INVEST ALMOST £1MILLION IN SILEBY AS DEVELOPMENT LAUNCHES

Miller Homes East Midlands is pledging to contribute nearly £1million to the community of Sileby as it launches its latest Leicestershire development ahead of schedule.

More than half of the funds provided by the national new homes-builder will be going towards local schools, with a total of £566,233 being committed to education. This will help support the construction of additional facilities at schools, including Highgate Community Primary School, just one mile from the new Highgrove Fields development on Seagrave Road.

A further £121,423 will be dedicated to Sileby’s healthcare centres, with £58,429 for Highgate Surgery, while £62,994 will be given to The Banks Surgery.

Alongside this investment, further donations will also go towards schemes and organisations around the village, making the total community investment almost £1million. This includes a pledge of almost £6,000 to improve Sileby Library, over £200,000 to create new youth and adult recreation areas such as skate parks and scout halls, and £3,500 to redevelop the bus stop on Seagrave Road.

The announcement comes following the online launch of Highgrove Fields, with a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes now available to reserve and purchase.

Alastair Parsons, Areas Sales Director for Miller Homes Midlands, said:

“Creating a good community for our residents is our main priority at Miller Homes, and this goes beyond just building new homes. We want to make sure that every resident, both new and old, has access to high-quality education, healthcare and leisure facilities. Highgate Primary School is highly rated by Ofsted, so parents can be confident that their children are receiving a high standard of education.

“We are all excited to see how this community will grow, and we know that supporting these schemes and businesses will make Sileby an even more desirable place to live.

“The first online release of homes at Highgrove Fields is happening earlier than planned due to extremely high demand. Hundreds of potential buyers have already registered their interest and our sales team are set to be very busy.”

Miller Homes will also be investing a further £26,000 in other community schemes including waste management and transport.

The showhome at Highgrove Fields is due to be unveiled in September.
