Free Webinar Aims To Help Firms 'Thrive Not Just Survive' Beyond Covid-19

Two businesswomen are set to host a free webinar to give tips to firms on how to thrive beyond Coronavirus.

Tina Clough, of Poppy PR, and Lindsey Newman-Wood, who runs Passion Marketing, teamed up earlier this summer to offer a complete public relations and marketing solution, called IGNITE.

Now the Castle Donington-based company owners are hosting an online event, called Preparing to Ignite Your Business Through Killer PR and Marketing to Make the Ultimate Comeback!

It aims to provide advice on “not just surviving but thriving during Covid-19 and the aftermath”, said Tina, who launched Poppy PR 10 years ago and provides traditional public relations services, crisis management, social media and event planning, amongst other services.

“It is aimed at limited businesses which have a need to ‘pivot’ and diversify and achieve some quick wins from their marketing and PR strategies during these tough times,” added Tina, who won the Young Achiever of the Year accolade at the English Women's Awards in 2018.

Marketing and innovation consultant Lindsey, who set up her business nine years ago, has an enviable repertoire of clients and is currently delivering marketing workshops for the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership Growth Hub and the Leicestershire Growth Hub.

She said: “The session will be engaging and interactive and Tina and I will share our top tips to get companies seen and heard and cut through the ’noise’ so they don’t just survive but thrive in the ‘new normal’.

“We will be sharing our experience and the webinar will be packed full of useful information and a Q&A session.

“We will be sharing success stories of how we have helped our clients make a comeback and keep trading and growing throughout Covid-19.”

The session, which is aimed at limited businesses with teams of five or more who don’t have a dedicated PR or marketing team, will take place on Zoom from 2pm-3pm on Wednesday, August 26.
