Marketing event to help online food businesses in East Midlands reach their potential

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is holding a regional online webinar on Friday 31st July 2020 1-2pm to help food businesses to improve their marketing and reach their full potential.

The purpose of this session is to share thoughts about how smaller food businesses can use marketing, innovation, disruption and social value to keep customers coming back.

You can book a place through the FSB’s event page www.fsb.org.uk/event-calendar

Four panellists will take part, with the FSB Policy Representative for the East Midlands chairing the event, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.

Panellists include Moslek Uddin, Founder and CEO of UK Curry Connect, a trade body and campaign group, and Leicester-based Shaf Islam who is Director of Chutney Ivy Restaurant & Bar.

Also a panellist is Arnab Dutt OBE, FSB’s Chair for Social value and Inclusive Growth.

Arnab said: “I am delighted to take part in this FSB event with an excellent panel including both local and national industry figures who have a great deal of knowledge to help market your business better.

“The last few months have been a hugely challenging time for food businesses in the East Midlands and by attending this session you will gain fresh tools to help you thrive and develop new opportunities.

“I’d especially urge food businesses in and around Leicester to engage after the serious impact lockdown has had on them. The FSB want to help you get back to businesss.”

The final panellist is Trudi Waldram of Food and Drink Forum which supports food producers
