“I have poured my heart into writing a book which will help and inspire others”

At a time when many are seeking more flexible, homeworking career options, a Northamptonshire businesswoman has written a book which promises to empower virtual assistants (VAs) to create their own thriving businesses.

‘The Alchemy of Virtual Assistance: creating a successful virtual assistant business around your family’ by multi award-winning VA, Suzy Sanders, was unveiled in the UK and overseas during a recent launch event hosted entirely online.

Sharing some of her tried and tested business practices, as well as the personal and professional challenges she has faced whilst growing her now booming VA franchise Suzy - founder of Northamptonshire-based Alchemy Virtual Assistance - hopes her book will encourage budding VAs to seriously consider setting up on their own, either via the Alchemy VA franchise model or independently.

“This book has been a real soul project over the last few years, and I have poured my heart into writing it so that I can help and inspire others who want to achieve the same flexibility, freedom and fulfilment that I have,” said Suzy.

“Sadly lots of people have found themselves out of work or are actively looking at alternative careers as a result of Covid-19, but with the working world having become more virtual than ever before, I genuinely believe the VA industry will continue to thrive post-lockdown.

“It is absolutely the right time to share my journey, to impart my wisdom and hopefully empower individuals to grasp these opportunities and do what I’ve done.”

A book review by Jules Kennedy, motivational speaker and author, reads: “This is a must-read book for anyone thinking or even just contemplating becoming a virtual assistant. It’s written straight from the heart, it’s passionate, true and very honest. Suzy shares with you her mistakes and glories as well as giving sound advice on where and how to begin your journey to becoming a successful VA. This surely must be the bible for any aspiring VA.”
