Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Though the doors to Barrie Stephen Hair’s five salons are currently closed, the Leicester business is continuing its plans for growth with the appointment of two hairdressers who were at risk of unemployment.
Barrie Stephen, owner of the award-winning salon group, welcomes two stylists who lost their jobs following the permanent closure of a salon in Leicestershire. Even in the uncertain economic climate, Barrie is keen to keep investing in his business while also supporting the local community, including the recruitment of new team members.
Lynne and Brad will be joining the team at Barrie Stephen Hair in Anstey once its doors reopen. While the current business restrictions are in force, Barrie is focused on the future and continues to prepare for when his salons are up and running once again.
Barrie said,
“When any local business has to close, it is incredibly sad for the whole community. It is a harsh reality check, but we must continue to pull together in support, ready for when we can re-open. I’m delighted to welcome Lynne and Brad to the Barrie Stephen Hair team."
Barrie has a long history of working closely with other independent businesses across the Midlands and saw this as an opportunity to not only keep two skilled hairdressers in employment, but a way to offer support to the Leicester business community.
Barrie adds,
“As a business we are focusing on the future, looking at ways to keep our salons going at the current time and ensuring we are able to come back with a bang. Our two new recruits will certainly help us to do this.”
