Foodies in Lincoln can look forward to trying some fresh tastes as a new venue prepares to welcome its first customers.

Chartered surveyor Banks Long & Co has leased premises in Lincoln’s lower High Street to Rashal Hassan, who is creating new jobs in his new grill takeaway that seeks to bring something new to the area.

Rashal has snapped-up the opportunity to move into former Chinese takeaway premises, which he said is ideal for his Serafina Grill. He has brought 30 years of experience within the restaurant and fast food industry to his new venture and he is passionate about healthy eating.

“Having lived here for over three decades, Lincoln is very close to my heart and the ideal location in which to launch my business. I am creating a mix of eight part and full-time jobs and we are looking forward to offering people a range of healthy foods from our kitchen,”

said Rashal.

“We will be serving fresh food straight from the grill, and our menu is inspired by Portuguese, American and English cuisine. We have a great range of Piri-Piri dishes, gourmet burgers, ribs and delicious vegetarian menu.

“People will be able to order fresh food to deliver and collect and we also have 12 seats, so people can pop in and sit down to eat.”

he added.

Rashal said that the Serafina Grill could be just the first of several restaurants. The grill is opening on Tuesday, March 17 at 4pm and trading to midnight from Tuesdays to Sundays. But from April 1, Rashal is planning to serve breakfasts and also open from lunch to midnight.

Banks Long & Co Surveyor James Lockwood said: “We are delighted to have leased premises in this part of Lincoln to Rashal and we wish him the very best for the future with his new enterprise.”
