Gem of a deal for NG sees Nottingham jeweller expand

Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have sealed a deal to let another former Ladbrokes unit - this time to a fast-growing jewellers in Nottingham city centre.

Ellis Cullen at NG, on behalf of GVC Group, the parent company of Ladbrokes Coral, has brokered a deal that will see Keisha Jewellery move into 21 Pelham Street, located half way between the thriving Hockley area and Nottingham's famous Old Market Square.

Keishi Jewellery is a precious and semi-precious jewellery store.  They chose this store to showcase the local, national and international brands they stock.   Keishi already have an existing store at Cobden Chambers so Pelham St has been acquired as a result of the business growth plans over the next few years.

The position was of interest to the jewellery business due to its high profile location and high footfall.

Ellis said:

"This the latest in a series of deals we've completed for GVC Group. Pelham Street is a quality unit and sits in a fantastic location which meant it was ideal for fast-growing businesses such as Keishi Jewellery.

"We wish them well for the future, and would welcome enquiries from other expanding SMEs who want to move into some of the very best locations in the East Midlands."

Ben Tebbutt at Box Property acted for Keishi. He said:

"Box Property act on behalf of Keishi Jewellery advising on business growth and strategy. We are already looking at opening a third store in Lincoln before the summer.”
