Cash and help from trentbarton together

trentbarton is offering up to £1,000 or its time and resources to local good causes. The new trentbarton together community fund is welcoming applications from sports teams, schools, charities and other local groups.

The bus company will support at least one good cause every month, with the successful applicants chosen by a panel of trentbarton staff.

It could be a local team needs some new kit, or a school needs help with a free ride to an event. Community events that need a helping hand can also apply.

Jeff Counsell, managing director at trentbarton, said:

“Our wonderful staff are always keen to get involved in their local communities and as a company trentbarton has always welcomed requests for our assistance.

“trentbarton together is a new fund we’re keen to put to good use across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, so we’re calling out to teams, groups and schools to get in touch and let us know what help they need.

“We won’t be able to help everyone, but will pick out the most deserving. It won’t always be about money. If our team is needed or the loan of a bus would make a big difference then we we’d love to help out.”

Applications can be made online at: trentbarton.co.uk/together

In recent months trentbarton has helped students with volunteering overseas, bussed a primary school choir to a Christmas concert at a care home, taken teenagers to their prom dance and ferried 200 sea cadets to a parade.
