Nottingham agency shortlisted in National PR Awards

Nottingham digital marketing agency Impression has been shortlisted in the national PR Moment Awards.

Impression, which was founded in 2012 and occupies the third floor of King Street's Fothergill House, is nominated in the category of Stunt of the Year in celebration of a campaign run recently for their client Cuckooland.

The digital PR team at Impression has grown in the past 12 months from four to a total of seven members with plans for further expansion and service development later in the year.

The award for which Impression is shortlisted recognises excellence in the use of 'PR stunts' to drive visibility and press coverage. Their campaign, entitled "Anti Nightmare Mist", saw the team produce an 'anti nightmare mist' that would expel monsters from under the beds of children and was launched around Halloween in 2019. Features of the product could be seen in national newspapers including The Sun, The Mirror, The Metro and in consumer and parenting publications like Yahoo Style and Mother & Baby.

Speaking of the shortlist, Impression's Head of Digital PR Laura Hampton said:

"It's a fantastic accolade for the team here at Impression to be recognised in a PR specific award and special congratulations have to go to Damian, who led on the campaign, and Beck who designed the product.

"We recognise that PR is a mainstay of most marketing strategies and have noted that, in recent years, many businesses have started to make decisions between using a traditional PR agency and a digital PR agency; for us, the difference lies in the fact that the latter produces measurable gains and this is another reason that it's so great to see one of our campaigns shortlisted against so many exceptional traditional PR teams."

The award winners will be announced in a ceremony in London later this year.
