Social agency’s rebrand hits all the Rate notes

A specialist East Midlands social media agency has kicked off the new year with a rebrand to reflect the growing industry.

Communikate Marketing, which was founded by Kate Johnson in the summer of 2018, has changed its identity to Rate Social to better reflect its expertise and the range of services it has to offer, with a little nod to the founder's heritage.

Based in Nottinghamshire, at the Mansfield Innovation Centre, it works with a range of clients across the UK, offering a full range of social media services, from management and advertising to consultancy and training.

Rate Social works with companies to develop a social media strategy which aligns with their overall marketing objectives, creates, plans and schedules content, then monitors and reports on its success.

It also works in the influencer marketing sphere, helping clients to identify and explore any influencer opportunities that will help them to promote their brand, products and services.

Kate studied business and marketing at the University of Lincoln.

Prior to starting her own business, she worked in marketing roles across the region in a number of sectors, including education, tourism and construction software.

She said: “Communikate started life as a general consultancy offering a full range of marketing services. It had gained some traction, but social media was at the core of the business and had really started to take off.

“So, after a lot of thought, I decided to focus solely on social media as a specialist area, offering creative account management and a wide range of services to clients, to help them achieve their social goals.”
