Digital agency helps indoor climbing centre chain achieve international sales success

East Midlands web development agency MP Digital has helped global indoor leisure chain Clip n’ Climb to increase its international online customer enquiries by more than 30% after building its new website.

The new site, www.clipnclimb.com, has also increased the business’ search views by 315% and its clickthrough rate by 180% in the month since it was launched.

Clip ‘n Climb is an innovative climbing-based concept for leisure facilities, offering activities with a variety of themes to appeal to visitors of all ages and abilities.

With a UK head office in Lancashire, it operates more than 50 across the UK, with local centres in Nottingham and Derby and at iconic venues including Blackpool Tower, Meadowhall and the Bluewater Shopping Centre.

It is owned by Entre-prises, a global leader in the design, manufacturing and installation of bespoke climbing walls to leisure facilities around the world, including 280 international Clip ‘n Climb centres.

MP Digital built and launched the site in December 2019, to help Clip n’ Climb enhance its online presence among the international leisure operator community, to drive sales enquiries.

The multilingual site is available in English, French, German and Spanish, with a Chinese version currently in development and set to launch soon. 

It aims to encourage leisure operators to enquire about becoming a Clip n’ Climb franchisee, while also directing end users to their nearest centre to make their booking.

The brochure site, which was built in WordPress, has been designed to reflect Clip n’ Climb’s new branding. It includes stronger calls to action throughout the site to encourage users to register their details and request information about becoming a franchisee.

It integrates with Clip n’ Climb’s CRM and mailing systems to ensure the data it collects gets sent to the right country to be actioned.

MP Digital was awarded the contract after successfully building the online booking system for 36 Clip n’ Climb centres in the UK. It follows the Nottingham-based firm winning the brief to create a bespoke booking platform for the world’s first Angry Birds Adventure Golf attraction, which opened in the UK last year.
