Experienced property litigation solicitor strengthens Lincolnshire legal firm

A leading Lincolnshire firm of solicitors has further expanded their team following the appointment of an experienced property litigation solicitor.

Michelle Cox has joined the Commercial Property team at Chattertons Solicitors & Wealth Management’s Stamford office following 18 years at Greenwoods GRM in Peterborough.

Highly experienced in dealing with a range of general property issues including commercial landlord and tenant, boundary disputes and property rights, she is passionate about helping clients find solutions.

She said:

“I’m delighted to have joined the Chattertons team in Stamford and I’m looking forward to dealing with all aspects of property litigation including commercial landlord and tenant matters, whether they arise within transactions, during the course of the lease term or towards the end of a lease. I am also looking forward to helping clients with more traditional land disputes.”

Using her practical approach to resolving clients' property disputes and considerable experience in this area, Michelle is looking forward to using her expertise to settle a wide range of property matters.

She added:

“I advise as to risks and tactics in lease renewals, break provisions, breach of covenant, tenant insolvency and dilapidations. It’s all about how to avoid litigation and to achieve a better outcome, rather than having to go to court.

"I’m also here to be the voice of reason in situations that can become very emotive, such as boundary disputes. People don’t always think pragmatically in these situations and I’m here to achieve the best outcome for the client.”
