Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Kegworth-Based Business Invests in its Senior Team in 2020

The IFP Group has appointed a new senior manager and launched a new website as part of its 2020 growth plans.

With its headquarters in Kegworth, Derbyshire, The IFP Group includes leading food and drink consultancy, Integrated Food Projects, engineering consultants, SDA Design Consultants and construction experts, IFP Construction.

Leading the team at IFP Construction and taking on the role of operations manager is Matt Sparrow, who brings over 18 years of construction experience.

Focusing on delivering construction projects for the food and drink industry’s biggest and most successful businesses, IFP Construction currently works alongside existing IFP Group clients, and will look to market itself to a new client-base thanks to major investment from the Group with the launch of a new website and marketing strategy.

Newly appointed operations manager, Matt Sparrow commented on the launch:

“Our goal is to make IFP Construction the go-to food and drink construction business.

“In this new role I’ll be developing the business to deliver projects in a much quicker timeframe than traditional construction processes due to our tailored contractual offerings.

“We’re preparing ourselves for a surge in new business this year, and this will be an exciting time that we are keen to grasp with both hands. We have rapid growth plans to increase turnover threefold in the next three years, initially concentrating on the UK as a primary market before working further afield in the future.

“Within the last year as a group we have seen a massive change in how we are eating as a nation. The rise of plant based diets and clients requirements for manufacture are needing to change to keep up with demand. As a group we understand process and have the ability, skills and knowledge to deliver fully functioning facilities, this may be conversion or segregation of existing food facilities or the conversion of existing building to suit the need.”

“Brexit has also placed additional pressures on the food and drinks industry, and companies have tried to understand the implications. As the fog starts to clear we are well placed to assist in delivering business needs including new build facilities for companies looking to move manufacture to the UK and start operating in the shortest possible timeframe.”
