Christmas comes early to creative pupils in Kettering after Christmas card competition with leading developer

Pupils at Hayfield Cross Church of England School in Kettering have taken part in a Christmas card design competition ran by five star new homes developer, David Wilson Homes.

The leading homebuilder, who is currently building properties at its nearby Bertone Manor development, asked pupils at the school to design a Christmas card with the theme of ‘Christmas at home’ as part of the festive competition.

All pupils at the school took part and the winner, Micah (7) has received a £50 Amazon voucher and runners up Kaeley (9) and Gracie (5) also received prizes for their designs.

The developer has also printed 450 Christmas cards featuring all of the winning designs to be distributed at the school and the new homes development.

Craig Charteris, Head Teacher at Hayfield Cross Church of England School, said:

“We were delighted when David Wilson Homes reached out to us and asked us to be a part of its Christmas card competition, it’s a great way for our pupils to get into the spirit of the season.

“We’d like to say thank you to the developer for asking us to take part in the competition. It’s lovely to see a big company like David Wilson Homes engage with the community surrounding its development.”
