New Appointment to Russell Scanlan in Nottingham

Leading independent insurance broker Russell Scanlan, has welcomed a new recruit to its growing team in Nottingham.

The firm, which is based in Wellington Circus, has appointed Nick Smith as a Private Client Account Handler. With previous experience looking after personal lines and financial services, Nick comes with a strong background in the private client sector.

Having started his career at a family run firm in Derby, Nick is looking forward to embracing the opportunities that a larger organisation offers. Nick said:

“Living in Nottingham, I wanted to work a little closer to home and when a friend told me about the position I jumped at the chance. I’m settling in very well so far, still adjusting to new procedures but the team have been very welcoming and I’m looking forward to having my own dedicated group of clients that I can build relationships with and help grow.

“The opportunity for career progression was really important to me and as Russell Scanlan has Chartered Insurance Broker status, I will soon start studying for my CII certification.”
