Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Hit the headlines with Love Business News

Over the past eight years, Love Business has established itself as the leading business to business event in the East Midlands

We have become a firm fixture in the business calendar, attracting thousands of delegates, hundreds of exhibitors and dozens of strategic partners along the way.

Today, we’re proud to be launching a new initiative which will give local businesses the opportunity to raise their profile, showcase their brand and share their good news all year round.

You’ll have noticed a few subtle changes to the Love Business News website, which we’ve relaunched as a dedicated digital news platform to keep you up-to-date with all the latest good business news from across the region.

Some exciting developments lay ahead with the channel, which will include expert opinion on key business issues, guidance and advice to help you start or grow your business, ‘how to guides’ to tell you all you need to know about a range of topics like CSR, diversity, leadership, finance and manufacturing, as well as motoring and commercial property updates, and much, much more.

Great value marketing and advertising packages are now available, helping you to create tailored digital campaigns to suit your budget and maximise the return on your investment.

An award-winning news team

Quiet Storm Solutions, the team behind Love Business, is joining forces with business journalist and writer Jon Smart on the new venture.

Quiet Storm has been providing strategic and creative sales and marketing solutions to clients for more than 30 years, working with a wide range of businesses from local start-ups to large blue-chip companies. It combines business know-how with technical competence and imagination to create new ways of improving long-term business growth for its clients.

Jon, meanwhile, is a former reporter who has worked on some of the country’s biggest regional newspapers and leading business magazines, including East Midlands Chamber’s Business Network, and its predecessor, In Business.

He also headed up the busy newsroom at the Chamber for six-and-a-half years, working on a host of local and national media campaigns in that time.

Steve Megson, Managing Director of Quiet Storm, said:

“We’re delighted to be relaunching the Love Business News site today, to extend the Love Business brand and give local businesses the opportunity and the platform to share their good news stories and raise their profile throughout the year.

“Love Business is all about celebrating success, showcasing the achievements of the many fantastic businesses we have in this region, sharing their inspiring stories and spreading positivity about all that is good about business here in the East Midlands.”

Jon Smart added:

“Love Business is a great event which I’ve supported for many years, so I’m pleased to be working with Steve and Quiet Storm to enhance the brand even further.

“As a business journalist and writer, I’ve long championed the private sector here in the East Midlands, which is the heartbeat of the UK economy, so I’m looking forward to helping build Love Business News into a platform which will showcase the very best our fantastic region has to offer.

“We’re not interested in doom and gloom. The East Midlands is full of good business news stories and we want to shout them from the rooftops.”
