Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Derby Business Owner shortlisted as finalist in Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2nd English Women’s Awards 2019

The 2nd English Women’s Awards 2019 will recognise and celebrate female talent from the Midlands to the South, following the North edition held earlier this year.

The event will honour women power-houses and organisations with influential and hardworking women making a change in industries. The public have nominated worthy women and finalists have now been shortlisted.

Farrah Allarakha is a finalist in the Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year category, for her success with Derbyshire based business, Neo Elegance. Neo Elegance is an innovative aesthetic device brand, supplying clinics and salons with affordable solutions for skin treatments like acne, ageing and pigmentation.

Allarakha says

“I’m really excited to be a finalist in these awards, alongside other successful women. The beauty industry is a very competitive industry and for Neo Elegance to stand out and make an impact on the industry is amazing. Five years on and we have clients across the globe now, including some of the big clinics on Harley Street.”

Neo Elegance started as an online destination for home beauty devices, a market estimated to be worth $94.4bn by 2023. The business expanded from retail to trade products, which led to the rapid success of the business, but Farrah has not forgotten the struggles and hurdles she had to overcome to arrive at this point.

“I didn’t come from a business background so I struggled on how to set up the business and I had to try everything to find what worked for this business, obviously this cost time and money.”

Farrah Allarakha will know if she is a winner during the elegant ceremony held in November.

The Awards will provide women entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses, civil servants and sports stars with a platform to be celebrated for their success and contribution to society, and stand as inspirational role models for the next generation of girls set to smash the patriarchy.

The award ceremony organised by Creative Oceanic, who has delivered award ceremonies for nearly a decade in cities around the world. Irfan Younis CEO of Creative Oceanic said:

“We’re delighted to bring the Women’s Awards back to England for the second year, and are sure this year will provide its fair share of brilliant talent and inspiration. Best of luck to all finalists, we look forward to celebrating with you on the night.”
