Major acquisition creates further expansion for Derbyshire based lubrication specialist

A leading industrial lubrication specialist based in Derbyshire has completed the acquisition of a prepacked fuel and contract packing business as part of an ongoing expansion programme.

The deal will see Chesterfield-based Aztec Oils Ltd take on Caldo Oils Ltd's facilities at Worsley Brow, St Helens, along with its Devon and north Wales distribution operations in Newton Abbot and Rhuddlan.

Managing Director of Aztec Oils Ltd, Mark Lord, said:

"This venture really excites us. It gives us a great opportunity to develop our retail packaged range, offering both Aztec branded products, whilst at the same time as growing our private label customers."

Following the acquisition, Aztec will oversee manufacturing from the Worsley Brow site, which will continue to produce the Hallett Steam Oils Brand under Caldo's recently renamed Multispec Ltd.

At the same time, Wardle-based NWF Fuels will acquire the Caldo trading name and the bulk fuel business as a separate entity.

Aztec Oils manufactures and distributes specialist lubricants to a wide range of industrial sectors and is fully committed to building long term relationships with its ever-growing number of worldwide customers.
