DBCP backs Hilton Harriers FC with kit sponsorship

Hilton Harriers FC Under 16s will be taking to the pitch in style for the 2019/20 season after Derbyshire Building Control Partnership (DBCP) has offered its support with a full playing and training kit sponsorship.

The club, which was formed in 1992 with one Under 9s team, now has more than 30 teams at various age groups. DBCP has partnered with the club for the sponsorship of its Under 16s team, who will be playing in the Derby City Football League (Saturday) Division 1 in its bright orange and black strip proudly sporting the DBCP logo.

Andy Walker, Manager of the Under 16s team commented on the sponsorship:

“Due to the support and generosity of DBCP, our Under 16s have been able to purchase a full new kit and new training wear. We hope this is the start of a long and successful relationship and will all work as hard as possible to get positive results and, above all, maintain the spirit and enjoyment of the group.

“On behalf of the players, coaches, parents and everyone associated with the team, I would like to give our sincere thanks and immense gratitude to the whole team at DBCP for their support. We look forward to working together.”

DBCP is keen to support young people in sport, particularly in football, because of the benefits it brings to communities.

David Pratt, Building Control Manager at DBCP added:

“Grassroots football brings huge benefits to young people in many ways and DBCP is proud to be able to lend some financial support to this team.

“The inclusive team ethos and community spirit played a huge part in DBCP’s decision to support Hilton Harriers. Integrity and trust within a company is important and, after meeting the U16s team and its manager, it was clear that trust, honesty and pride was absolutely there within the team’s values. We wish Hilton Harriers a great season. We’ll be going along to as many of the games as possible to support from the sidelines and watch some great football.”

DBCP is the recommended building control service provider in Derbyshire. It is responsible for ensuring that all new constructions, conversions, alterations and extensions are built to a minimum standard and meet certain health, safety and welfare standards.
