Walesby Forest ‘rocking the sky’ for Bonfire Night

Nottinghamshire outdoor activity centre Walesby Forest is set to host its annual bonfire night firework spectacular, Rock the Sky, on Saturday 2nd November.

The event will showcase stunning fireworks to the backdrop of hit rock songs from across the decades for a night of entertainment in the heart of Sherwood Forest.

Gates will open at 5:30pm on the night with a junior firework display taking place at 7pm. Gates will then close at 8pm ahead of the main event at 8:15pm - when Walesby will rock the Nottinghamshire sky with its spectacular firework display, accompanied by a variety of classic tracks throughout the ages.

As well as the fireworks, visitors will be able to enjoy a fun fair, bar, shop and a range of food stalls - with free parking on the night.

The annual event is always a crowd pleaser for the team at Walesby Forest and is one of the highlights in the annual event calendar, as the company’s CEO Guy Laurie goes on to explain.

“Fireworks are a tradition for bonfire night celebrations and we thought for this year, why not set off fireworks with a bit of a twist?” says Guy.

“Music brings people together, so to see and hear the sky lighting up to the backdrop of some well known rock classics really gets the crowd going and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable evening under the stars for visitors of all ages.”

Tickets for Rock the Sky are available from the team at Walesby Forest with advance tickets only £4 for adults, £3 for children and £16 for a family with two adults and three children. Tickets on the night will be £5 for adults and £4 for children (under 14), with children under 4 years free.
