Aspirational Harbury Development officially opened with ribbon cutting event

David Wilson Homes’ new Bishop’s Itchington development, Bishop’s Hill, has now officially opened following a ribbon cutting ceremony that featured the Chairman of the Stratford-on-Avon District Council.

Bishop’s Hill, which is located on Station Road, will consist of 200 brand new properties, offering a collection of three, four and five bedroom homes, perfect for a variety of buyers, including growing families and working professionals.

The ribbon, which marked the launch of the show homes and marketing suite, was cut by Councillor Christopher Kettle, Chairman of the Stratford-on-Avon District Council, in front of attendees which included representatives from both the RSPB and Warwickshire Wildlife Association.

Councillor Christopher Kettle, said:

“It was a delight to be able to have a look around the newly opened show homes at Bishop’s Hill.

“This was a challenging site and David Wilson has achieved a well-designed and spacious layout on it, along with wildlife friendly features in the garden.  With its footpath link to Bishop’s Itchington, I am confident this development will create a real community feel for the benefit of future residents of Bishop’s Hill.”

Dominic Harman, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes Mercia said:

“We were delighted to have Councillor Kettle cut the ribbon at our launch event, signifying the official opening of the eagerly anticipated development.

“The opening of our marketing suite and show homes gives prospective buyers the opportunity to see the high level of quality for themselves.

“We are extremely proud of this development and are looking forward to bringing a range of fantastic homes to the area.”

In the midst of an idyllic village location, Bishop’s Hill offers a thriving surrounding area where residents will never run out of activities to do. Just 15 miles away is Leamington Spa, which has a number of shops, restaurants and bars for a relaxing day out close to home.

For families, there are a number of amenities to make their lifestyles easier. Within walking distance is a primary school for those with little ones and a variety of supermarkets make running everyday errands simple.
