Bruton Knowles Renews Support for Nottingham Rugby Club

With the Rugby World Cup 2019 well underway in Japan, Bruton Knowles is pledging its support for the sport, much closer to home.

Today, the national property consultancy announced that it will be renewing its sponsorship package with Nottingham Rugby Club for the 2019/20 season.

The commitment is part of Bruton Knowles’ ongoing sponsorship programme supporting local rugby clubs and teams in the towns, cities and regions in which it operates - 12 office locations nationwide. The support contract with Nottingham Rugby Club is the largest agreed to date and extends the firm’s relationship with the club to four consecutive years.

As part of the sponsorship package, the consultancy will play an integral part in helping the club encourage younger people into the sport. Bruton Knowles will also once again be supporting the development of two senior Nottingham Rugby Club players - Jake Farnworth and Alex Crocker.

Bruton Knowles’ Managing Partner, James Bailey, is based at the property consultancy’s Nottingham office. He commented:

“Support for our local communities is what fuels our sponsorship programme and as a business we have a love for rugby as a sport and as a fantastic team game that brings players at all levels, and their families, together.  Now with the Rugby World Cup in full swing, attracting a global spotlight, we want to help promote the sport as much as possible and encourage others to do the same.”

Steve Smith, Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Rugby Club, added:

“We are thrilled that Bruton Knowles has continued their support with Nottingham Rugby Club. They have been fantastic over the last four years in which they have been involved with the club and we’re delighted that they, once again, are continuing to provide their support.”
