Celebrations for Nottingham-based SDL Surveying as it clocks up 30 years

A Nottingham surveying specialist marked its milestone 30th anniversary with an evening of celebrations.

Surveyors and operations staff from SDL Surveying were invited to an outdoor party, which included pizzas from a wood-fired oven, an inflatable pub and classic hits spanning the three decades the company has been running.

SDL Surveying arranges mortgage valuations and home surveys through its 100-strong team of operations staff, 80 in-house surveyors and nationwide network of 280 independent surveyors.

During the event, held at the firm’s Chilwell head office, Simon Jackson, managing director at SDL Surveying, thanked all those who had helped make the company a success:

“SDL Surveying is 30 years old and that is an incredible achievement for any business, so we wanted to celebrate with a big party.

“We have had a great 30 years and the last few have been brilliant because we have won so much business. But we also have a fantastic future ahead of us, which is all down to the people who work here today – and I would like to thank them.”

First founded as Direct Valuations in 1989, SDL Surveying now works with well-known banks and building societies, completing more than 180,000 mortgage valuations last year.
