Air IT celebrates expansion with launch of new office

Managed IT and communications provider, Air IT, has almost doubled its office space as it looks to create new employment for local people.

The firm has acquired a second office space on Interchange 25 Business Park in Sandiacre, just a stone’s throw away from its headquarters, the aptly named “Technology Hub.”

Now occupying nearly 10,000 sq ft on the site, both spaces are equipped with top facilities designed to encourage employee well-being and development. The new office boasts an on-site gym, dream room and quiet area for staff to enjoy.

James Healey, Managing Director at Air IT, said:

“Acquiring the additional site is a big milestone for us. Giving us much-needed space as we continue to grow, the new site houses our recently launched Business Intelligence team, Air BI, and enables us to serve the cyber security needs of new and existing clients through our specialist division, Air Sec.

“As we continue to deliver high standards and market-leading services to clients, we've invested in state of the art facilities to engage our team and attract the best talent.”

Named as the Nottingham Post’s Employer of the Year in 2019, Air IT was founded in 2005 and has a team of over 70 employees. With capacity to now house up to 100, the firm plans to add more staff in the coming years.

Jeremy Boothroyd, management surveyor of landlord Hortons’ Estates, said:

“Air IT took its first lease out at Interchange 25 in 2017 and has now taken additional space to accommodate its expanding workforce. The company is a genuine success story and a great asset to Interchange 25.”

Air IT recently became the first Managed Service Provider in the East Midlands to achieve 3-Star Service Desk Certification, and is independently ranked as one of the world’s most progressive MSPs and number 1 in the Midlands.
