Jamie Roome takes flight at Scenariio - East Midlands Gateway

Scenariio embarks on their largest data infrastructure project at the new global shipping and logistics hub at East Midlands Gateway.

As Scenariio’s presence within the data cabling industry goes from strength to strength, the opportunity to continue expanding the team presented itself after winning their recent project for a large American parcel carrier. Jamie Roome joined the specialist team with over 15 years experience in the network data cabling industry and telecommunications sector. His crucial role within the organisation is to project manage this prestigious opportunity.

The global shipping and logistics company, are establishing an even stronger presence within the SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway (SLPEMG), situated next to East Midlands Airport. Their expansive logistics centre will enhance its international and regional distribution capabilities. To achieve their vision for their new premises, they required a robust, copper and fibre data infrastructure that can be relied upon 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The site-wide solution that Scenariio has provided will ensure that the network installed will out-perform today and ensure the company is ready for the demands of tomorrow.

All of Scenariio’s projects have an identified Project Manager, ensuring effective communication is maintained with the client at all times. Jamie is highly proficient in managing a team of qualified installers, dealing with technical issues and liaising with the client. He works rigorously to maintain project timelines and profitability while ensuring quality and health and safety standards are surpassed.
