Gluten-free, vegan Indian savoury snack selection unveiled by Central Foods

Frozen food distributor Central Foods has launched a mixed pack of gluten-free, vegan Indian savoury snacks as part of its commitment to supplying free-from products to the foodservice sector.

The selection includes mouth-watering onion bhajis, vegetable pakoras and vegetable samosas.

Hand-made, the Menuserve Indian savoury snacks are perfect for buffets, events, conferences, weddings and other gatherings, as well as for use as starters or accompaniments to dishes.

Central Foods managing director Gordon Lauder said:

“Indian food is one of the most-loved cuisines in the UK and this selection will provide foodservice operators with authentic, convenient-to-serve snacks.

“As well as being suitable for vegans, vegetarians and those who avoid gluten, the Menuserve Indian savoury snacks are sure to go down well with all diners. They’re a great product to have for buffets and other events, or they can be served as part of a meal in a restaurant, pub or other foodservice outlet.”

Each mixed pack of hand-made gluten-free and vegan Menuserve Indian savoury pastry snacks contains 20 onion bhajis, 20 vegetable pakoras and 20 vegetable samosas, all approximately 20g each.

Cook from frozen in a pre-heated oven (200°C/175°C /180°C (Fan)/ Gas mark 6) for 12 minutes, turning halfway through cooking time.
