Lee Sharpe kicks his way into The Derby Conference Centre before taking part in new ITV2 show

One of the most popular figures of modern football, Lee Sharpe, will be appearing to a select audience at The Derby Conference Centre ahead of his starring role in a new ITV2 show.

It’s the perfect opportunity to go back to a time when a post-match cooldown meant a few pints down the local pub.

Sharpe’s colourful career was marred by the notion that he “threw it all away.'' After a stellar start at Manchester United, an England debut followed at the age of 19. Such exposure at a tender age brings with it temptations. Sharpe found them difficult to ignore and his career duly suffered.

Footy fans, however, are left with some astounding tales. Exposed to some of the most charismatic men in world football, Sharpe’s stories feature the likes of David Beckham, Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona. From womanising with Manchester United’s finest, to escapades in Iceland - there’s no part of football that Lee Sharpe doesn’t know.

And now - he’s set to reveal all on Friday 6th September at The Derby Conference Centre.

Ideal for big groups, you can expect an unforgettable evening from the one time United starlet.

“The beauty of a guest like Lee is you always get something original. He’s full of stories. You never know what he’s going to say next - this is the perfect work night out.” says Matthew Hutchings, MD at The Derby Conference Centre.

As if Sharpe’s stories weren’t funny enough, he’s followed by three-time Merseyside Comedian of the Year and star of The Jonathan Ross Big, Big Talent Show Gary Skyner.
