Burton Chamber gains two new patrons

Britsec and Growth Partners have joined Burton and District Chamber of Commerce as its first local patrons.

Growth Partners, based in Leicester, is an employee engagement company that specialises in boosting business efficiency. The firm’s mission is to build work environments which employees enjoy working in.

Growth Partners offers a variety of services for businesses large and small, including payroll, pensions, health, wellbeing and employee benefits support. The firm also has its own web-based app named the GrowthPro platform. The app houses links to benefits, support services, pension and pay information which employees can access.

Major Grewal, head of business development (Midlands) at Growth Partners, said:

“We are very excited to be Burton and District Chamber of Commerce’s first patron.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for us, and we are looking forward to working closely with local businesses.

“With our platform and business model, the plan is not only to bring a completely new product to the Burton and District Chamber of Commerce network, but a product that is truly vital in helping businesses to nurture steady growth.

“Up until this point we’ve been building a name for ourselves in Leicester city, but with Growth Partners fully coming into its own this past year we’re ready to take the next step.

“For me, I couldn’t be happier that we’re bringing our platform to Greater Birmingham, my home turf.

“The Chamber is a fantastic network, especially for SMEs like Growth Partners PLC, and with great leadership in place and clear direction I’m truly excited and privileged to be part of this journey.”

Britsec is a leading provider of security services in the UK.

The firm offers film and TV security, close protection services, event management, executive transport and security, security dog handling, risk and threat assessments.

Jamie Oliver and Lindsay Lohan are among the firm’s star studded clients. Britsec is based in Granary Wharf Business Park in Burton, but also has offices in Glasgow.

Steve Withers, managing director of Britsec, said:

“We are incredibly excited to be joining an elite class of businesses in Burton and surrounding areas as a patron.

“We hope to support and celebrate the talent that the Burton and district community has to offer.

“As a patron of Burton Chamber, we hope to raise the profile of our business; whilst strengthening relationships with other businesses in the local area.

“We are always willing to share our knowledge and experience and hope to widen our support network by doing so.

“Burton Chamber has a great reputation and we are proud to become a patron.”

Chris Plant, divisional director of Burton and District Chamber of Commerce, said:

“The Chamber is absolutely delighted to welcome Growth Partners and Britsec on board as patrons.

“I have had the pleasure of getting to know Major and Steve, who are both enthusiastic and dedicated individuals that have a vested interest in the business community.

“Burton and District Chamber of Commerce is committed to servicing the Burton business community, whether that is helping firms grow or connecting them with opportunities or future clients.

“I am looking forward to working with Growth Partners and Britsec, and delivering their bespoke patronage package, which will help them extend their business networks and grow.”
