Hartshorne housing development progresses ahead of summer launch

Construction work on two new housing developments in Hartshorne is progressing well, ahead of their launch later this summer.

A total of 182 new homes are being built off Woodville Road in a joint scheme by Bellway West Midlands and Ashberry Homes East Midlands.

The first plots are due to be released for sale at Bellway’s Woodland Rise and Ashberry’s Hartshorne View, when the sales centres open in September.

The properties are expected to appeal to a variety of potential residents, including first-time buyers, downsizers and growing families.

Sales Director for Bellway West Midlands, Marie Richards, said:

“Woodland Rise is set to provide a range of fantastic, high-quality housing for people in the local area.

“The development will be an ideal place to live for anyone who’s looking for a new home in a peaceful village setting on the edge of the National Forest, yet with easy access to transport links to nearby Burton, Derby, Birmingham and Tamworth.”

Heidi Higgins, Sales Manager for Ashberry Homes East Midlands, said:

“We are looking forward to welcoming the first visitors to the site and in the meantime would urge people to register their interest online so we can keep them up to date with the latest information about the launch.”

Bellway is building a selection of two, three and four-bedroom home at Woodland Rise, while there will be a selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes available at Ashberry’s Hartshorne View.

Bellway and Ashberry retained their five-star building status with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) earlier this year. The rating was achieved after more than nine in ten who responded to the HBF’s National Customer Satisfaction Survey said they would recommend Bellway to a friend.
