Lincoln businesswoman celebrates with double award shortlisting

Louise White, owner of local aesthetics and wellness clinic Body Lipo Lincoln, is celebrating this week after being shortlisted for two regional awards in the Forward Ladies National Awards 2019 and the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2019.
Louise has made it onto the Midlands shortlist for Forward Ladies’ ‘Female Entrepreneur’ category, which celebrates women who own, run, maintain or control a business. Louise is also a 2019 finalist for Great British Entrepreneurs’ ‘Health & Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year’ Midlands category, which recognises those making a real difference to bettering our health, beauty and wellbeing. The two shortlistings add to Louise’s success earlier this year as she won a commendation in the Woman Who Achieves Awards 2019’s STEM category at Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry.
Louise said:
“I am thrilled to have been shortlisted for these two prestigious awards, which recognise all the work I have done and am continuing to do in breaking down women’s health taboos and to open them up into wider conversations.
“I recently set up Lincoln’s first Menopause Club to encourage and inspire women to talk about the issues they’ve been facing and seek advice in a safe environment. My goal is to make women feel confident in their own skin again, which is why I invested in the EMSella chair, a revolutionary treatment for urinary incontinence and the first of its kind in Lincolnshire.”
The Forward Ladies National Awards launched in 2009 and are now in their tenth year, having been designed by managing director Griselda Togobo to demonstrate enterprise, talent and innovation from across each region’s thriving business community.
Louise White was nominated for the awards because of the success of her clinic Body Lipo Lincoln, which opened on High Street, Lincoln in 2017 and unites health and wellbeing with aesthetics, by using non-invasive technology to treat the face and body.
Founded in 2013, by Francesca James, the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the UK and celebrates the incredible stories that have taken them to where they are today, regardless of size or turnover.
The winners of the Great British Entrepreneur Award will be announced at the Glee Club, Birmingham on Wednesday 25 September. The Forward Ladies National Award winners will be announced on Friday 4 October at The Hyatt Regency, Birmingham.
