Nottinghamshire house hunters to benefit from help to buy information at Berry Hill

Leading developer Barratt Homes is hosting an exclusive Help to buy event this weekend (27th and 28th July) at Berry Hill to help homebuyers find out more about the scheme.

Visitors will be welcomed to the Berry Hill development both on Saturday and Sunday and will be able to discover how the government backed scheme can make their dream of moving to a brand new home a reality.

The event aims to give house hunters expert advice and information on how the scheme works.

Fantastic offers are also available on selected properties including upgraded kitchens, flooring packages and a contribution towards moving costs.

Chris Southgate, Managing Director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said:

“We are excited to welcome house hunters to Berry Hill this weekend where they can see for themselves the beautiful properties available.

“The event will inform buyers about the fantastic Help to Buy scheme which can make the dream of moving into a new home a reality.

“Our friendly Sales Advisers will be on hand at the event so that attendees can gain some industry expert advice and have any questions answered.”

The government backed Help to Buy scheme, which launched in 2013, allows house hunters to purchase a home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage.

The remaining 20% is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first five years and repayable on the sale on the home, making it easier for property seekers to make a move.

Situated on Lindhurst Way West, Berry Hill forms part of an exciting new community in the market town of Mansfield. This highly sought after development features a collection of three and four bedroom homes available to reserve.

The ideal place for first time buyers and families alike, Berry Hill is well connected to the M1 and A60 making it ideal for those who commute.

The development provides residents with the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, without compromising transport links. Berry Hill will also feature a brand new village centre, primary school and wildlife reserve.

Not short of brilliant days out, the market town of Mansfield is just a 12 minute drive away from the development where residents will find a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Parents are spoilt for choice when it comes to days out with the kids, from bowling, to soft play and even pony trekking just a short drive away.

To register an interest in any of the properties at Berry Hill, visit the marketing suite on Monday from 12:30pm until 5:30pm or from Thursday to Sunday between 10am and 5:30pm.
