Macildowie launches Public Sector and Not For Profit recruitment division with new senior appointment

Midlands-based recruitment consultancy, Macildowie, has grown its senior team with the appointment of a new business director and is revealing details of its expansion into the public and not-for-profit sectors.

Margarita Fedoseyeva has joined the business in the newly created position and brings with her more than 16 years’ experience in public sector and not-for-profit recruitment. The appointment supports plans for Macildowie to grow its operations into new fields covering local and central government, emergency services, NHS, housing, education and charities.

Explaining the importance of Margarita’s appointment, chief executive officer at Macildowie, James Taylor, said:

“We’ve been planning a move into the public and not for profit sectors for the last few years, with the aspiration of appointing a business director who would step into a leadership role and guide the new division. We feel confident that Margarita’s ability and experience within the Public Sector will be an invaluable asset to the business as we continue to expand.

“It’s been a pleasure to welcome Margarita into the Macildowie family; she’s a high profile appointment and someone who I believe will enable us to deliver our award-winning customer value proposition into the public sector. I’m thrilled she’s chosen to embark on the next stage of her career with us.

“There’s no doubt that Margarita has a very strong personal brand in the market, and when combined with our brand heritage in the Midlands, I expect that Macildowie will become a public sector and not for profit force in a very short period of time.”

Margarita has already begun establishing her nationwide division, operating from its Nottingham headquarters, by appointing recruitment consultant, Peter Newman, and is looking to further expand the public sector team by hiring a second head.

Commenting on her new role, Margarita added:

“Having worked for a large corporate company for 16 years, I’m delighted to have joined Macildowie. It’s refreshing for me to join a regional heavyweight with such a fantastic reputation. I’m thrilled to be playing a part in the continued growth of the business, helping to deliver a robust and quality service within a new marketplace.

“Having watched the company grow from its Nottingham headquarters, I was pleased to learn just how I would fit in with the company’s ambitious plans for the future. My aims are to establish this division nationally by using my breadth of experience to lead a winning team and assert the company’s knowledge and expertise within this rapidly expanding sector.”

Macildowie operates across the Midlands and recently added to its ranks with the high profile appointment of company chairman and industry expert, John O’Sullivan, who brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the industry.

John and Margarita join the company at an exciting time, with the firm being included in The Sunday Times’ Best Small Companies to Work For in 2019.
