Housebuilder sponsors new season kit for local football club

A Nuneaton based U12 football team is sporting a fresh kit for the new season thanks to sponsorship from leading homebuilder, Barratt Homes.

Barratt Homes Mercia division, who are building properties at Saxon Meadows on the nearby Queen Elizabeth Road, sponsored the boys U12 team who train in Nuneaton, close to the development.

The donation was made through the developer’s community fund initiative, where the housebuilder will donate £1000 each month to charities throughout the local area surrounding its developments.

Kev Taylor, Team Manager for Nuneaton and Bedworth U12s District team, said:

“The sponsorship has helped an incredible amount and it’s so great to see the team playing games in matching kit.

“I aim to coach the players in a professional manner and the new kit enables the boys to proudly represent the town that they play for.”
