New appointment supports leading Nottingham student letting agent

Nottingham based student-letting agent FHP Student Living, has appointed a new office manager to help manage its growing student property portfolio in the city.

With twenty-two years of experience in property, Stuart Bowley will be lending his wealth of knowledge to the team, leading on new lettings and property management.

Commenting on the new position, and the potential Nottingham holds for student housing, Stuart said:

“I have worked across the property sector for almost twenty-two years and have always loved the diversity and fluidity of the industry and that is something that I think student living really offers, especially in a city that is so desirable for prospective students.

“I’m looking forward to helping FHP Student Living achieve the best results for students in the city at both Nottingham Trent and the University of Nottingham. I hope my experience in the industry will add to the expertise the team already have in student living, by seeing the market from a different perspective and continuing to offer the highest standard in student living.”

The new appointment is set to bolster the team ahead of the new academic year in September, where the business is expecting to see a record number of students heading into the city and seeking accommodation.

Commenting on the new addition, Jonty Green, head of FHP Student Living added:

“We have had a great start to 2019, with more and more students seeking out luxury properties, and no longer settling for the stereotypical ‘dingy digs’, for example, our new Varsity developments in The Lace Market & Beeston are proving extremely popular, for that very reason. We are also beginning to see a shift in moving patterns across Nottingham, with students continuing to edge closer to the city centre, rivaling traditional student areas such as Lenton and the Arboretum - this is something that we are adapting our lettings offering to.”

Since entering the student market in 2015, FHP Student Living has grown significantly, initially letting and managing around 150 beds to now having a portfolio in excess of 850 beds

Jonty added:

“We are thrilled to have appointed a new member to the team, especially someone with such great experience. FHP Student Living has a lot in store for the rest of 2019 and the new academic year, and with Stuart joining us as our new office manager, the team is in safe hands.”

Earlier this year, FHP Student Living and FHP Living announced their new partner charity, Young Minds, to help remove the stigma around mental health and open the conversation with young people.
