Notts property professionals gather to celebrate the city's developments

MORE than 70 property professionals from across Nottinghamshire gathered for an evening of networking and socialising at the annual ‘summer soiree’ hosted by Roythornes Solicitors, BSP Consulting and DLP Planning.

The networking event, held at Pitcher & Piano in Nottingham on Wednesday 19 June, saw like-minded organisations from across the city forge ties and discuss all things property and construction.

Shruti Trivedi, head of planning at top 200 law firm Roythornes, said:

“There is an incredible amount of work being done in Nottingham at the moment, with cranes going up almost every week. Nottingham is an exciting city to live and work in at the moment and that mood was really reflected at the event this year.

“There are a number of really big developments starting to come to life so it was great to see businesses gather to discuss what they love about Nottingham and how they can work to further develop and improve our wonderful city.”

Chris Dwan, director at DLP Planning – a multi-disciplinary consulting group that offers a wide range of town planning services, said:

“This is the fourth event that we’ve held and each year it’s been a real success. This year felt particularly positive and it was great for our growing Nottingham team to network with clients and friends."

Jef Todd, business development director at BSP Consulting – an award winning civil and structural engineering firm, said:

“The annual summer soiree has become a firm favourite on the calendar for professionals working in the development, property and construction sectors in Nottinghamshire.

“As a company that launched in Nottingham 20 years ago, BSP’s pre-planning department particularly is involved in the early stages of projects and we very much enjoyed the opportunity to talk to our clients and associates about upcoming developments and those that are now under way.”
