Investment in Harborough district is at the heart of new homes development

Building on its existing investment in the district of Harborough, Mulberry Homes is committing over £230,000 to provide vital contributions to the local communities as part of the planning for its new Heathcote Grange development in Great Bowden.

The funding is an integral part of the planning agreement for the Leicester Lane development to bring 50 homes to the area, and will support a variety of community facilities including schooling and healthcare.

Mulberry Homes’ current Hursley Park development also saw the local homebuilder invest over £400,000 in the region, a commitment which has been strengthened with Heathcote Grange.

Amongst the contributions are funds invested in secondary education facilities, plus support towards healthcare, allotments and social infrastructure projects.

The benefit to residents is at the forefront of the plans and the community will be able to enjoy safer and greener transport options following a contribution to greenways, free travel passes and bus stops.

Kerry Jones, Head of Sales at Mulberry Homes, said:

“Our Heathcote Grange development provides us with another excellent opportunity to invest in the Harborough District through supporting local facilities and projects.

“Contributing to the areas in which we build is a key feature of our development plans through offering financial support, as well as creating jobs for local residents.

“We aim to build more than just quality new homes, as we strive to form communities which fit in perfectly with the local area and complement the location’s landscape and existing neighbourhoods.”

Residing in Great Bowden, homebuyers are welcomed by the finest aspects of country living and a traditional village lifestyle.

Picturesque countryside views are showcased close by, whilst the excellent amenities in close proximity reinforce the village’s character with independent shops, bistros, pubs, a village hall and a church.

Whilst sitting in an idyllic location, residents can take advantage of having the flourishing town of Market Harborough close to home, providing a train station with direct services to London.

With the properties at Heathcote Grange now available, there is currently a selection of three and four bedroom homes available with prices ranging from £429,950 to £649,950.

Mulberry Homes also has just three family homes remaining at Hursley Park on Welham Lane with prices ranging from £434,950 to £840,000.
