Consultant sought for LLEP Business Survey 2019

The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) has opened an opportunity to tender for consultancy services to undertake a 2019 Leicester and Leicestershire Business Survey.

The telephone survey, that has been conducted since 1994, will influence key partnership strategies, commissioning specifications and funding bids. The survey also provides a key source of evidence for the LLEP and its partners that demonstrate business need and opinion.

The last survey was undertaken in 2017, and like its predecessors provided a robust source of intelligence about the local economy. The LLEP is working with Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council to develop the survey.

Kevin Harris, Chair of the LLEP said;

"The Leicester and Leicestershire Business Survey is a valuable evidence base that provides a snapshot of the local business landscape and delivers a robust source of intelligence that helps us plan and underpin strategic thinking."

"The Business Survey allows us to continue our conversation with businesses of all sizes and sectors to understand their challenges, but more importantly their ambitions and opportunities for growth.  The significance of the survey has heightened as it will feed in to the Local Industrial Strategy due to be launched for Leicester and Leicestershire in early 2020."
