Uni2 Rent celebrates rapid growth as it champions Nottingham

Student lettings and management company Uni2 Rent is celebrating a period of strong growth, having more than doubled its annual revenue over the last three years.

Nottingham-based Uni2 Rent, which was founded in the city by an entrepreneurial student in 2012, works to house the Nottingham student community in contemporary, centrally located homes and works with landlords with houses of multiple occupancy (HMOs) and large investment funds with purpose-built accommodation sites.

The company has seen its turnover increase by nearly 70% since 2016 and now manages more than 1,000 student rooms across Nottingham. It has also continued to expand its team and currently has two positions available, based at its branch on Canning Circus, Derby Road.

Founder and managing director, Ed Henderson, said:

“I knew from first-hand experience that there was a gap in the market for a specialist student accommodation company that really understood the wants and needs of the student community. We created an easy-to-use service that goes beyond quality accommodation, with added services to make student living easy, fun and stress-free.

“We’ve been able to fill 100% of our rooms year-on-year which is something we’re extremely proud of and is down to our hungry and energetic team, including our brand ambassadors who actively go out and talk to students about our services.

As well as offering accommodation inclusive of bills and utilities, Uni2 Rent partner with local companies to offer exclusive discounts for services like laundry, cleaning, taxis, gym memberships, restaurants and even a home-cooked meals delivery service.

The company also offers property sourcing, purchasing, development, lettings and management to investors, culminating in the sourcing and sale of more than £12million worth of property stock over the last two years.

Following its recent growth, Uni2 Rent has set its sites on further championing Nottingham as the go-to city for students.
