Opus Trust shows support for Great British Business campaign

Opus Trust Communications, the Leicester-based organisation delivering intelligent customer communications, is showing its support for a nationwide campaign to celebrate the entrepreneurial success of businesses throughout the UK.

The Great British Business campaign aims to promote and celebrate small and medium enterprises (SME’s) across a diverse range of industries throughout the country, supported by 12 months of national TV advertising and social media exposure.

As SMEs make up 99% of the 5.5m businesses in the UK, the Great British Business campaign provides a national platform for forward thinking organisations like Opus Trust Communications to take centre stage.

With a history of more than 30 years, Opus Trust Communications has been responsible for creating and delivering business critical documents and transactional communications for FTSE 100 companies across markets which include energy, water, financial services, telecoms, business services, travel and leisure, construction and the public sector.

The company, which boasts a turnover of £28m, recently announced a rebrand to reinforce its position as a trusted partner for multi-channel customer communication services.

In addition to the Great British Business campaign, which will run for the next year, Opus Trust continues to share the findings from an independent piece of research it had commissioned, the Hidden Opportunity Market Report.

Focusing on how its clients’ customers prefer to receive their communications, the responses provided consistent evidence that there is no one-size-fits-all and that consumers prefer a selection of methods to suit their needs including traditional post, email and SMS.

The survey found that consumers value customer correspondence and are embracing new technologies and digital channels.

Opus Trust Communications is urging businesses to act now to prepare for the future and meet these changing expectations as consumers want to use online chat functions, portals and apps to access information from their providers.

Chief Executive Officer for Opus Trust Communications, Tony Strong, comments:

“Whilst we work with many FTSE 100 companies, we also work with many SMEs, much like those businesses featured in the Great British Business campaign, and so it made sense for us to show our support and become one of the organisations that is featured.

“The way the world communicates is constantly changing which is why companies need to be prepared to meet with the evolving expectations consumers have when it comes to giving and receiving critical information.

“As well as supporting our clients throughout these changes, we are also adapting the way we operate in order to keep our company positioned as a leading provider of multi-channel customer communication services.”

Sales and Marketing Director for Opus Trust Communications, Richard Farmer, adds:

“The Great British Business campaign is an excellent platform for us to showcase our organisation; highlight the skill and dedication of our people, and to show that SME’s like ours have the agility and flexibility not always associated with larger organisations.”
