Future Proof Films adds awards and TV talent to the team

The exciting and growing video marketing company, Future Proof Films, have enjoyed a busy start to 2019

Which has included award success in being named the Digital Ambassador of the Year at the Mainframe awards, and more recently being named finalists for 'Creative Communications & Digital Business of the Year' in this year’s Derby Telegraph Business Awards.

In January, they doubled the size of their office and studio by moving into a new space at Derby’s Sadler Bridge Studios, and now they have expanded their team by employing another talented editor, Joe Thomas, who has experience working on TV shows such as Come Dine With Me, University Challenge and Countdown.

“Whilst working in London and for ITV in Manchester, I had been keeping an eye on the great work Future Proof Films were doing - and laughing along with their social media output. My move from ITV back to the midlands coincided nicely with Future Proof’s expansion and I was only too happy to join the team and help them continue to grow,”

Joe said.

It isn’t just a growing client-base of household names and great companies from the surrounding area that has meant Future Proof Films needed to scale their workforce.

Director, Robert Dawes states,

“The entire business landscape and its relationship with video marketing is changing. More and more companies are now aware of the power of putting out regular high-quality video content. That’s where being able to acquire someone like Joe has been crucial. As well as being a talented creative, his experience on periodic TV programs gives him strong project management and workflow skills that will help as we push forward.”

With video marketing campaigns completed for the likes of Cooper Parry and Microsoft, business award success, and a new visual subscription service being offered, it looks like the rest of 2019 will be every bit as busy as the start. Find out more futureproof.film
