Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Business experts join forces for event to help entrepreneurs follow their dreams

Two local business experts are joining forces to deliver a unique workshop aimed at helping new business owners and budding entrepreneurs to put their plans into action and reach their full potential.

Jade Brindley, of business development consultancy Koa Consulting, and Debbie Leafe, of business and wellness coaching organisation MindFit, are collaborating to deliver a session that covers business growth planning and marketing strategy, along with developing a positive mindset and managing worries and anxieties.

Delegates will leave with a clear actionable plan, the mindset to launch and grow a successful business and be fully-equipped with the tools to overcome their biggest obstacles.

Jade Brindley founded Koa Consulting in 2017, having worked in business development for more than 12 years with SMEs across all sectors.

She has worked in all areas of business development and managed teams of 60+, successfully implementing growth plans and transforming businesses. From events to marketing, sales and account management, Jade is an expert at spotting and developing opportunities.

Debbie Leafe is a life and business coach with over 27 years' experience of developing both individuals and teams.

Having spent 22 years as a senior manager for the NHS, she has seen at first hand the challenges posed by the modern day workplace. Having run her own business for more than five years, she is also fully aware of the challenges that entrepreneurs face.

Debbie also has a passion for mindfulness and combines this with coaching to work with large corporates and individuals to help them reduce stress and anxiety, increase confidence and live happier, healthier lives.

Jade Brindley said:

“Building, launching and running a business can be scary and overwhelming. There are so many things to consider and put in place.

“This workshop has been carefully put together to not only give you some practical support in terms of helping you to put your business growth strategy into action, but also the tools you need to overcome the stresses and anxieties that can hold you back.”

Debbie Leafe added:

“A lot of new business owners have a clear plan and ambitions for their business, but often get overwhelmed by everything that is going on, because they don’t have anyone behind them to guide them through the process of running a successful business.

“This event is all about helping you understand what is holding you back and helping you to let go of any self-limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns of behaviour.”

The workshop takes place on Tuesday 21 May, at East Midlands Chamber’s offices in Pride Park, Derby. Tickets, costing between £97-£127, can be booked online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/what-ifyou-did-something-great-tickets-60327418934.
