Inspiring Business by Sharing Success

Nottingham Accountants To Host First Business Growth Event

Business growth experts to provide advice to Nottingham company owners at first in a series of events organised by Turning Point Accountancy Services.

Nottingham business owners are invited to attend a free growth and networking event organised by accountancy firm Turning Point Accountancy Services which aims to offer inspirational ideas to keep companies moving forward.

The event, which will be of value to start-ups and established companies, is the first in a series to be organised by Turning Point Accountancy Services with the aim of connecting local firms through networking and to also provide valuable, practical, expert advice.

Taking place on 14th May 2019 between 10:00-12:00 at The National Justice Museum in Nottingham city centre, the event will feature presentations by two business growth experts which will provide attendees a wealth of  information and proven success strategies to implement in their own businesses. It will also include plenty of time for informal networking so attendees can meet others within the business community.

Marketa Blackham, from Turning Point Accountancy Services explains:

“Many of our clients run successful, established companies but they are always keen to learn more and discover new ways to grow their business. Obviously, we are here to provide the accountancy advice but alongside this we wanted to host a range of events so that our customers and business colleagues in Nottingham can gain advice from other experts.”

The keynote speakers are business owner, coach and author Claire Brumby and LinkedIn expert Charlie Whyman.

Claire Brumby will share the story of her inspirational journey, from surviving a life-threatening illness, to appearing on Dragons Den and founding a multi-award winning healthy snacking brand…despite being rejected by the Dragons! As a business coach and successful entrepreneur and author, Claire will share her wealth of expertise and first-hand knowledge based on her 25 years in business about what it takes to establish and sustain a thriving business.

LinkedIn expert Charlie Whyman will discuss how all business owners can do more to utilise the power of their most valuable asset – their network.  Her focus will be the use of LinkedIn as a business development tool to raise the visibility of a company’s credentials and make it stand out from the competition. Using her considerable experience, Charlie will advise attendees about effective strategies to attract clients from their LinkedIn contacts.

Marketa Blackham adds:

“I’m looking forward to welcoming Claire and Charlie to The National Justice Museum. I’m sure these two highly experienced speakers will inspire us all and will provide practical actions to consider for the growth of our businesses.”
