Newbie Scott joins Newby Castleman’s Loughborough office

A newly-appointed manager is looking forward to adding to his accounting experience and management background with Leicestershire Chartered Accountants Newby Castleman.

Scott Bradford, 31, from Swadlincote in Derbyshire, joined Newby Castleman’s offices on Forest Road, Loughborough earlier this year in the role of Manager. Scott graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Accounting & Finance, following which he began working for Bates Weston LLP in Derby. He spent eight years at the firm, becoming qualified in 2013 and progressing to the role of Relationship Manager.

Scott’s new position at Newby Castleman involves supporting partners David Hastings and Annalise Lovett with account management, the diverse nature of which Scott is greatly enjoying. Outside work, Scott has a passion for football and is an avid Derby County fan.

Scott says:

“Moving to Newby Castleman was a very smooth transition and definitely the right choice – I feel very much at home here. My favourite aspect of my role is the freedom and responsibility given to me by David; he has already put a lot of trust in me to manage jobs and work independently, which is great. In terms of my goals, I’m looking forward to focusing on improving in my new role and working with the staff and many clients of the firm.”
